For those who have been connected to YES! Young Enough to Serve for a while, you have no doubt heard the names of Ward Hastings and Georgina Wong. They are two of our local YES! heroes who exemplify the joy of serving full-throttle in their retirement years.
For Ward and Georgina, serving in 'retirement' is a natural continuation of their pre-retirement years. They never got the memo telling them that their best serving ended with their careers. They serve God through serving others.
Because of their contagious servant hearts they are blessed with friends of all ages, experiencing countless opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
